Gmail · Lazurio integration catalog
Find important messages and prepare a summary without sending anything.
Open Apps → Integrations in the Environment where you will work. The catalog shows the supported route and current accounts. A prompt alone does not connect an app.
1. Connect
You · copy this prompt
I want to use Gmail in this AI chat. First verify which tools and connections you actually support here. Check the available integrations and the account for this app. If it is missing, give me its actual card link in Apps → Integrations. Do not initiate sign-in or connect an account yourself. I will complete the connection on the card.
L
AI · example response
I will read the integration catalog. If sign-in is needed, I will return the app card link. You complete it there; then I will verify the actual account and available operations.
Your part
Open the app card in Apps → Integrations. Check the domain, account and permissions, and complete sign-in yourself. Return to chat for verification. Never send passwords or tokens in chat.
2. Verify
You · copy this prompt
Check the current connection state. State which account you are using if the tool can safely identify it, and which operations are actually available. Do not reveal credentials. Do not change or send anything. If the connection or permissions are missing, do not claim success.
L
AI · example response
Verification must come from a tool result, not an earlier chat response. If the account is unclear or permissions are insufficient, resolve that first. Then try a small read-only task.
3. First task
You · copy this prompt
In the connected Gmail account, find up to 5 messages from the past 7 days and summarize their subjects and main points. Do not open attachments, change read status, delete or send anything. If the available tool cannot do this without changes, stop and explain why.
L
AI · example response
The assistant should return a result from the connected app or explain exactly why it cannot. Compare the result with the app. Approve sending messages, changing events or other writes separately.
Gmail · Composio
Find important messages and prepare a summary without sending anything.
In Lazurio, use Composio only where the Organization or Personal Environment user permits it. Composio holds credentials and processes call content. Check permissions and data-processing terms before connecting a work account. An account or prompt alone does not make Composio tools available to your AI client.

I want to use Gmail in this AI chat. First verify which tools and connections you actually support here. Check whether this app uses permitted Composio in this Environment. Return its actual card link in Apps → Integrations and explain any missing setup. Do not run a connection command or initiate authorization. I will sign in on the card.
L
AI · example response
First I will verify the configured route and whether Composio is permitted. You connect through the app card, and I verify the result afterwards.
Your part
Open the app card in Apps → Integrations. Complete any required Composio setup and the app sign-in yourself. Check the account and requested permissions before continuing.

Gmail · Existing connection outside Lazurio
Find important messages and prepare a summary without sending anything.
This example concerns your own standalone AI app. Inside a Lazurio Environment, ChatGPT apps follow the default-off policy and its version limits; an existing connector is not blanket permission. Do not create new ChatGPT or claude.ai connectors in Lazurio.

Scripted example: no accounts are connected and nothing is sent. Your assistant must verify available tools and permissions; its replies may differ.
Before you start
Have your AI app name, plan and intended account ready. Start with test
or non-sensitive data.
Follow your Organization’s rules in Lazurio. Choose new connections
using the connected-app standard.
Composio is an option under that standard’s conditions. Built-in connectors
are also shown for standalone AI apps; this example does not approve a new
provider for work data.
If the connection fails
Check the account, plan availability, administrator restrictions and authentication state. A prompt cannot supply a missing connection or MCP server. Never paste passwords, tokens or sensitive diagnostic output into chat.
Revoke access
Disconnect the account in the chosen integration service or AI app and check third-party permissions in your Google account too. For a Lazurio MCP connection, remove the server in Executor and revoke its provider access according to the authentication method. Closing a chat does not revoke permissions.
Sources and example scope
Use this example to request a connection and check that it works. Exact setup steps depend on your AI app and plan; check that app’s documentation.
